The skin care programs offered at the Catherine Hinds Institute are the direct result of years of research and development in the field of skin care. Our skin care programs have been carefully designed to meet the current consumer demand for personalized care and therapeutic treatment by highly-skilled, skin care professionals.
The Catherine Hinds Institute currently offers 2 Esthetics Programs:
The 600 HOUR CORE ESTHETICS PROGRAM prepares the student for the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology Examination in Esthetics. This program provides the student with all necessary basic information, as required by the State, to operate as an entry-level esthetician performing American or European Facial treatments, makeup artistry, and wax depilation techniques. The Core Esthetics Training curriculum prepares the student to perform comprehensive, facial esthetic services including advanced age management modalities and acne treatment procedures. It provides proficiency in a number of esthetic treatments such as microdermabrasion, HydraFacial, ultrasonic, as well as extraction techniques, lash extensions, fantasy makeup, and more.
The 900 HOUR MASTER ESTHETICS PROGRAM provides an overview of what can be expected in an advanced clinical setting. Students can expect to develop an understanding of advanced acne and age management treatments such as fundamentals of microneedling, dermaplaning, IPL treatments, as well as lash lifts and corrective makeup.
