Information on Transfer Hours
Decisions concerning the acceptance of credits by any institution other than the granting institution are made at the sole discretion of the receiving institution. No representation is made whatsoever concerning the transferability of any credits to any institution. Students considering continuing their education at, or transferring to, other institutions must not assume that credit earned at the Catherine Hinds Institute will be accepted by the receiving institution.
An institution’s accreditation does not guarantee that credits earned at that institution will be accepted for transfer by any other institution. Students must contact the receiving institution to determine what credits, if any, that institution will accept.
If you are a Massachusetts licensed cosmetologist you may be eligible to transfer up to 75 hours. All transfer hours are subject to review of a current license and acceptance is at the discretion of the Institute. Transfer hours must be requested at the time of enrollment. If you are transferring in hours and applying for financial aid, this will impact the amount of aid you are eligible for.
