The Catherine Hinds Institute currently offers Massage Therapy 650 Hour Program:

The educational objective for the CHI Massage Therapy 650 Hour Program is to prepare the student for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx). This program provides the student with all necessary basic information, as required by the State, to operate as an entry level massage therapist. The CHI Massage Therapy 650 Hour training curriculum prepares the student to perform comprehensive massage services, including chair massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue myofascial release and more.

Students gain real-world experience in our Student Clinic, working with clients under the supervision of licensed massage therapists.

  • Anatomy & Physiology including Pathology/Kinesiology
  • Massage Theory & Technique including: Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and More
  • Ethics, Professionalism and Business Practices, including Business Start Up, Communication, Strategies, exploring Career Paths.

Full-Time Day
Details
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:30am – 4:00pm
  • 30 minute lunch break (12:30pm – 1:00pm)
Part-Time
Details
  • Monday – Wednesday 6:15pm – 10:15pm and Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • 15 minute break at discretion of instructor

Tuition details and payment plan options are reviewed during your admissions tour. Please note that the Massage Therapy Program is currently not eligible for financial aid or VA educational benefits. Flexible payment plans are available, and our Admissions team will guide you through your payment options and help you understand the full investment in your massage therapy education. CHI Alumni are eligible to receive a 10% discount off the Massage Therapy program.
