The Catherine Hinds Institute currently offers a 600 Hour Esthetics Program:

CHI Esthetics 600 Hour Program

The educational objective for the CHI Esthetics 600 Hour training program is to prepare the student for the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology Examination in Esthetics. This program provides the student with all necessary basic information, as required by the State, to operate as an entry level esthetician performing Catherine Hinds Signature facial treatments, make-up artistry, and wax epilation techniques. The CHI Esthetics Training curriculum prepares the student to perform comprehensive facial esthetic services, including advanced age management modalities and acne treatment procedures. It provides proficiency in a number of esthetic treatments, such as microdermabrasion, ultrasonic and chemical exfoliation, as well as extraction techniques, lash extensions, make-up and more within scope of practice, per the Division of Professional Licensure, Policy No. 2017-01

Hands-On Clinical Training Experience

At Catherine Hinds Institute, education goes beyond the classroom. Students gain real-world experience in our Student Clinic, working with clients under the supervision of licensed esthetics instructors.

Full Time Day
Details
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:30am – 4:00pm
  • 30 minute lunch break (12:30pm – 1:00pm)
  • No credit will be given to a student after 4:00pm
Part Time Day - AM
Details
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:30am – 1:30pm
  • 15 minute lunch break at discretion of instructor
  • No credit will be given to a student after 1:30pm
Part Time Day - PM
  • Monday – Thursday
  • 2:30pm – 6:30pm
  • 15 minute break at discretion of instructor
  • No credit will be given to a student after 6:30pm
Part Time Evening
Details
  • Monday – Thursday evenings
  • 6:15pm – 10:15pm
  • 15 minute lunch break at discretion of instructor
  • No credit will be given to a student after 10:15pm

Spa Therapy Program and Schedules / Hours

The Catherine Hinds Institute currently offers an additional 150 Hour Spa Therapy Program.

CHI Spa Therapy 150 Hour Program

The educational objective of the CHI Spa Therapy Program is to meet the increased market demand for total body esthetic services. Relaxation, detoxification and body treatments are combined with all aspects of facial esthetic treatment theory to offer the most comprehensive body esthetic program available, per the Division of Professional Licensure, Policy No. 2017-01.  

Requirements: Must be a New or Current Catherine Hinds student who is currently enrolled in our CHI Esthetics 600 Hour Program to apply or if you have already completed 600 Hours and would like to continue your education.

Please note: There is no financial aid offered for the CHI Spa Therapy 150 Hour Program at this time.

Programs are taught in-person. Chronic tardiness resulting in failure to maintain satisfactory progress will be grounds for dismissal from the Institute.

Credit will be given only for actual hours in attendance.
