Fundamental 4-day IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) certification training class for licensed estheticians and skincare professionals seeking entry-level education in light-based technology treatments.

This class provides essential instruction on IPL technology, safety protocols, and treatment fundamentals using the Rohrer Spectrum device.

Students will learn the science behind hair growth, Fitzpatrick Skin Typing, IPL classifications, treatment parameters, contraindications, and pre- and post-care guidelines.

The program is designed to build a strong foundational understanding of IPL services including skin rejuvenation and hair reduction treatments within the professional scope of practice.

IPL Class Highlights:

• 4-day IPL fundamentals certification training course
• Hands-on training with Rohrer Spectrum IPL device
• Introduction to hair reduction, pigmentation, vascular lesions, acne concerns, and skin rejuvenation
• IPL safety protocols, device settings, and treatment guidelines
• Fitzpatrick Skin Typing and skin science fundamentals
• Lecture theory, quizzes, testing, and written assessments
• Instructor demonstrations and supervised hands-on practice
• Certificate awarded upon completion of 30 hours of training

IPL Class Schedule:

• Day 1–2: Lecture theory and foundational IPL education
• Day 3: Lecture theory and introduction to hands-on training
• Day 4: Full hands-on practical training with live models

Training is held at Catherine Hinds Company in Woburn, MA. Attendees may work on each other during training, and additional models are provided if needed.
